Some parts of the updating training can be completed on-board a ship.Evidence of on-board updating is by signing the appropriate “self-declaration” form.

Without this requirement the following limitation will apply: “From the 1 January 2017 this certificate is not valid for service on ships fitted with ECDIS”.
Information in an ACA training agreement must be accurate at all times.
If you have a student whose circumstances change (eg, change of name, change in length of training agreement increases, redundancy, suspension, cancelling an agreement) or change to office location, then you will need to update the agreement and advise us accordingly.
